Welcome to the CCS Extended School Day Program. Our ESD program is for K-3 – 6th grade students. Any student that attends ESD must fill out the ESD forms, even if the student attends as a drop-in. A student is considered a drop-in only if they stay in ESD ten days or less.
Fees for ESD are paid like tuition, due on the first of the month and late after the tenth. The ESD fee starts with your September tuition and ends in May. (The school tuition starts in July and ends in May of each year.) The registration fee for ESD is $25. This fee is required at the time your child is signed up for ESD.
The school day will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 2:40 p.m. ESD hours will end at 5:30 p.m. each day. When school is closed or if there is an early dismissal, ESD will be closed.
The ESD Director is Mrs. English. You may reach her anytime from 7:00 a.m. until 2:40 p.m. at 365-2005. If you need to call the ESD program after 2:40 p.m., leave a message at 365-2005, and we will return your call after 5:00p.m.
Fees per Month:
12:00 p.m. – 2:40 p.m. $130.00 (for K-3 & K-4 only)
12:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. $160.00 (for K-3 & K-4 only)
2:40 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. $100.00 (for K-5 – 6th grades)
DROP-IN FEE $10.00 PER DAY FOR K-3 & K-4 12:00 p.m. – 2:40 p.m.
DROP-IN FEE $12.00 PER DAY FOR K-3 & K-4 12:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
DROP-IN FEE $10.00 PER DAY FOR K-5 – 6TH. 2:40 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
The late fee charge after the 5:30 closing is a charge of $10.00 for the first five minutes, and $1.50 for every minute after. This fee will be added on your monthly statement. The registration fee for ESD is $25.00. This fee is required at the time your child is signed up for ESD. There will be a sign-out sheet for each day of ESD. Each child is to be signed out. An ESD worker will have the sign-out sheet. Please arrive on time when picking up your child. Our workers are ready to leave at 5:30p.m.
ATTENTON K-3 & K-4 PARENTS:
All K-3 & K-4 students who stay for naptime will need the following:
- A vinyl mat (please do not send a thick mat)
- A small travel size pillow
- A small blanket (a beach towel works great)
The pillow and blanket will be sent home each Friday to be cleaned. We will clean the mats at school.

12:30 -Rest time
2:40 dismissal
SCHEDULE FOR K-3 – 6th. grade (All students will go to ESD at 3:00)
3:00-snack time (CCS provides snack for the students, if your child would like to bring a snack, please make sure you do not send any carbonated drinks or candy.)
3:00-5:30 play time – movie time – story time
Starting at 3:00, weather permitting, we will be on the playground. If weather does not permit, we will be in a classroom. We will use the gym when the basketball and volleyball seasons are over. Also, we will attend home basketball & volleyball games on occasion. There will be a sign in the breezeway to let you know where the students are.
