Welcome to CCS Extended School Day Program. Our ESD program is for K-3 – 5th. grade students. Attached you will find the application, schedule, and the DSS forms that must be filled out. Any student that attends ESD must fill out the attached forms, even if the student attends as a drop-in. A student is considered a drop-in only if they stay in ESD ten or less days.

Fees for ESD are paid like tuition, due on the first and late after the tenth of the month. The ESD fee starts with your September tuition and ends in May. The school tuition starts in July and ends in April of each year. When school is closed or if there is an early dismissal, ESD will be closed.

The school day will begin at 8:00 am and end at 2:40 pm. ESD hours will end at 5:30 pm each day.

The ESD Director is Mrs. English. You may reach her anytime during 7:00 a.m. until 2:40 p.m. at 365-2005. If you need to call the ESD program after 2:40 p.m. leave a message at 365-2005 and we will return your call asap.

FEES PER MONTH
- 12:00 p.m. – 2:40 p.m. $130.00 (for K-3 & K-4 only)
- 12:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. $160.00 (for K-3 & K-4 only)
- 2:40 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. $100.00 (for K-5 – 5th. grades)
- DROP-IN FEE $10.00 PER DAY FOR K-3 & K-4 12:00 p.m. – 2:40 p.m.
- DROP-IN FEE $12.00 PER DAY FOR K-3 & K-4 12:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- DROP-IN FEE $10.00 PER DAY FOR K-5 – 5TH. GRADE 2:40 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

The late fee charge after the 5:30 closing is a charge of $10.00 for the first five minutes, second five minutes a charge of $20.00 then $1.50 for every minute after unless we are notified of your delay before the five o’clock hour. This fee will be added on your monthly statement. Registration fee for ESD is $20.00. This fee is required at the time you child is signed up for ESD. The fee is for supplies. There will be a sign out sheet for each day of ESD. Each child is to be signed out. An ESD worker will have the sign out sheet.

ATTENTON K-3 & K-4 PARENTS:

All K-3 & K-4 students who stay for naptime will need the following:

1) A vinyl mat to lay on (please do not send a thick mat)
2) A small travel size pillow
3) A small blanket or a beach towel works great

The pillow and blanket will be sent home each Friday to be cleaned. We will clean the mats at school.

ESD SCHEDULE K-3 & K-4:
- 11:30-Lunch
- 12:15-Rest time
- 1:45- Bathroom & put away mats
- 2:00- Recess
- 2:40 dismissal

SCHEDULE FOR K-3 – 5th.. grade (All students will go to ESD at 3:00)
- 3:00-snack time (CCS provides snack for the students, if your child would like to bring a snack, please make sure you do not send any carbonated drinks or candy.)
- 3:00-5:30 play time – movie time – story time

Starting at 3:00 weather permitting we will be on the playground. If weather does not permit we will be in the Teacher workroom, which is located on the right side of the school. We will use the gym when basketball and volleyball season is out. Also we will attend home basketball games on occasion. During orientation look for a sign on the Teacher workroom door that will read ESD ROOM.
